The peace and quiet all around,
will make you feel so free.
No people who will talk without an end,
t'was just the wind and me.
The voices of the wind and trees,
were the only sounds you'd hear.
You just could be yourself down here,
without a trace of fear.

The thoughts that wandered through your mind,
at first they're so messed up.
But here with all this tranquility,
I feel a freedom that overflows my cup.
I know now that I don't need your voice,
to approve in whatever I do.
In all these years I can now say ,
I am finally free of you.

This feeling that had erupted inside
the one that set me free
I never thought I would see the day
that this would happen to me
I thank the Lord for the peace in my heart
for without his help I couldn't have found
This serenity which is like a blanket
I found here with the wind as the only sound
